The site originally launched in 2024 under the RandomlyFun brand.
The tools on this site are grouped into several categories including decision & random, party & social, text & writing, wedding & events, and others. All of the tools were developed in-house by our team. A small number of tools use open-source JavaScript libraries under their respective open-source licenses. The majority of our generators and randomizers rely on well-known probability methods and standard algorithms. For tools where multiple approaches exist—such as the various name generators—we provide options so users can pick the style that fits best. Tools that are purely for entertainment, like the Compliment Generator or Truth or Dare, are based on our own curated content databases.
More than 95% of the descriptive content on this site—including tool descriptions, how-to guides, and blog posts—was written in-house. We regularly test inputs and edge cases so tools perform reliably, and we keep outputs practical and easy to personalize.
