About Human Bingo
Icebreaker Bingo (Human Bingo) is a fun activity for teams, classrooms, and events. Each person gets a bingo card with prompts like "Find someone who speaks two languages." Walk around, meet people, and mark squares when you find matches!
How to Run Icebreaker Bingo
- Choose a category: Work, School, Team Building, General, or Mixed.
- Generate a card: each card is a 5×5 grid with a FREE space in the middle.
- Set rules: one person can only sign/confirm one square (optional).
- Start mingling: talk to people and find someone who matches a square.
- Win: first to get 5 in a row (row/column/diagonal) calls “Bingo!”.
Facilitator Tips
- Keep it inclusive: avoid prompts that ask about sensitive topics.
- Use a timebox: 10 minutes keeps it energetic.
- Encourage conversation: ask players to learn a name, not just check a box.
- Debrief: have 2–3 people share a fun square they completed.
Remote / Zoom Version
Playing virtually? Use breakout rooms or pair people up for 2–3 minutes, then rotate. When someone matches a square, they can drop a message in chat (or say it out loud) to confirm.
